Classroom Policies
In order to achieve a fun learning environment, we must follow these classroom policies:
  1. Listen and follow directions
  2. Keep your body to yourself: we don’t have a lot of extra space in this classroom, please respect your tablemate’s personal space! J
  3. Safely use art supplies: be responsible when using art room supplies
  4. Clean up: If you take something out, put it back where you found it (every cupboard is appropriately labeled) If you make a mess, clean it up!
  5. Respect: our room, our supplies and each other!!!!
Grading
Grades will be based on:
  1. In-class projects, quizzes, and sketchbook assignments
  2. Creativity
The grading scale can be found in the Student Handbook. Ask Ms. Russell if you have any questions about this J
Assignments
Assignments will consist of in-class work time. If there is not enough time during the period to complete your work, you are expected to finish projects outside of class for the assigned due date. All assignments will be given due dates. If you fail to turn in your work/project, you will receive an incomplete. Each student has until the end of the quarter to turn in any assignment. Failure to do so will result in a zero for the missing assignment.
