Welcome to Redwood Valley Middle School Indian Education

The Redwood Valley Middle School Indian Education Program serves any self-identified American Indian student in grades 5th through 8th. Our program works to strengthen and promote positive experiences and educational outcomes for our American Indian students by:
Building meaningful relationships
Engaging in communication and conversations
Providing education and professional development
Proposing and supporting policy, systems, and environment changes
Providing guidance and resources
We value language, art, culture, history, perspectives, and the unique gifts and needs of American Indian students. We believe American Indian students can reach their full potential within their school communities through meaningful, equitable, and targeted educational experiences that affirm and value their unique cultural identities.
