Congratulations to our 12/6/24 Reede Gray Elementary Cardinal Shout Outs this week. We are talking all about Empathy this month at Reede Gray. Empathy is one way that we can show Kindness. It means understanding and connecting to other people’s feelings--like listening when a friend is telling you something about themselves, being a friend when someone is sad and showing you want to understand how they feel. Mrs. Argetsinger's 7th grade science students expanded on their studies of genetics to precipitate and extract DNA from strawberries this week.
Many students took their final samples home after adding string to make necklaces or keychains.

Jacobsen's and Rossow's Homebases collaborated to decorate vases and cards in a lovely, Fall/Thanksgiving motif, which were then filled with splendid flowers and delivered to River Valley Nursing Home on November 25, 2024. Each resident will receive the gift of a vase full of flowers and a card.

RVHS is hosting a Financial Aid Information Night on Monday, December 9th at 6:00 pm. The presentation will be in the RACC Meeting Room 1. Information covered will include updates to the FAFSA from a Ridgewater College Financial Aid Officer, tips for applying to community scholarships as well as Dollars for Scholars and information on the Ehler Loan program.
