We may be MCA testing in the morning but we're getting REALLY hands on in Mrs. Argetsinger's 7th grade science class this week!
Our ecology unit has us exploring many animal populations and we're making important connections connects with our class pet, owl pellet dissections, and growing producers for our native pollinators!

Dear Parents,
As summer approaches, we want to remind you of important health requirements for the next school year.
Incoming Kindergarteners, 7th Graders, and 12th Graders: These students require updated immunizations or a valid, notarized legal exemption on file with the school.
To ensure a smooth start to the new school year, we strongly encourage you to:
Schedule your child's immunization appointments now.
If applicable, begin the process of obtaining a notarized legal exemption.
Taking care of these requirements now will help avoid delays in your child's enrollment and attendance in the fall.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your school's nurse. We are here to help!
We wish you a safe and healthy summer!

Congratulations to our 4/4/25 Reede Gray Elementary Cardinal Shout Outs this week. This month, our character trait is Courage. Courage means choosing what is helpful, right–even when it’s hard or scary. When we want something to work out and it doesn’t it can be hard, but it is better to take the risk than regret not taking the chance. This is often how we grow and get better at things. We are so proud of how hard our students are working on growing their Courage. Keep it up RG Cardinals. It’s a GREAT day to be a Cardinal! #ReedeGrayElementary #CharacterStrong #AlwaysTheCardinalWay #Courage #Woohitike

Congratulations to our 3/28/25 Reede Gray Elementary Cardinal Shout Outs this week. As we get ready to turn the page to a new word of the month, let us recap the importance of using Cooperation at school, in our homes and in our community. It is important that when we find our talents it is important to reach out to Cooperate with others to build something bigger than we can do on our own. Anytime that we are working together with others to reach a shared goal we are using Cooperation. Keep it up RG Cardinals. It’s a GREAT day to be a RG Cardinal! #ReedeGrayElementary #CharacterStrong #AlwaysTheCardinalWay #Cooperation #oyateowichayakiyeyedo #YouHelpPeople

The RVHS DECA chapter is one of 4 Minnesota high schools to earn recognition for their work on DECA, Inc.'s Advocacy Campaign initiative. This initiative asks DECA chapters to find creative ways to advocate for DECA and Career and Technical Education (CTE) in schools.
During the month of February, CTE Month, the RVHS DECA chapter coordinated several events and advocacy activities including a letter writing campaign to their local legislators, an ice skating fundraising event at the RACC, a community service project stuffing envelopes for A Child's Place, a CTE bulletin board in the high school, and attending a meeting with the school board to advocate for DECA in our school.

At tonight's school board meeting, we honored wrestling and gymnastics state entrants and coaches. As well as our group of Impact Employees for Quarter 3. #AlwaystheCardinalWay
