Congratulations to our 3/4/22 Reede Gray Elementary Shoutouts. This month our focus is on TEAMWORK. We are growing and practicing that Together Everyone Achieves More. Teamwork builds a sense of community, develops empathy, teaches multiple perspectives and we can learn a lot from each other. We are so proud of this week's students and their teamwork in their classrooms and school. *Be Respectful *Be Responsible *Be Safe #AlwaysTheCardinalWay #RockinAtReedeGray #CardinalCode

RVHS Students of the Month!

On behalf of our Welding Program and the Cardinal Certification, we would like to give a big THANK YOU to Artex for helping evaluate our students on their welding skills, and to Redwood Electric Coop and SWIF for grant funding to make this experience possible for our students!

Students in Mr. Phoenix's Welding II class were awarded Cardinal Certifications in Welding. To earn this certification, students needed to score 80% or better on each competency. A big thanks to Artex for evaluating our students on industry standards in welding. Our hope is to make this certification regional, where businesses in SW Minnesota will recognize this for potential employment. Great job students!

February Social- Emotional Newsletter

Section Hockey vs. Mankato West is postponed until tomorrow 2-23 @ 7pm at All Seasons Arena in Mankato.

Redwood Valley High School will have an ELearning Day today. You can find the full expectations for ELearning (Students in Grades 9-12) at https://5il.co/12zti.
Here are the highlights:
1. Teachers will post assignments on Schoology by 10:00 a.m.
2. Work needs to be completed by 3:00 p.m. If you do not complete it, you will be marked unexcused for today, which will affect privileges, reimbursements, and seminars. Teachers will input attendance by 3:45 p.m.
3. Check your attendance after 3:45 p.m. If there is a mistake (ex: You were marked absent but completed your work) contact your teacher right away.
4. If you do not have internet access, contact the HS Office by 10:00 a.m. at 507-644-8112 or email amiejohnson@redwoodareaschools.com. You will need to make arrangements with your teachers to complete the work in a reasonable amount of time (generally within 1-2 days).
5. Work can be completed at any time during the day (you do not have to do it during your scheduled classtimes). However, note that about 30 minutes of work (roughly 3 hours for all 6 classes) should be scheduled for each class, so plan accordingly.
6. Teachers are available from 10:00-3:00 via email, Schoology, etc. Reach out to them if you need anything. The HS Office is also open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Have a good day and make sure to complete ELearning!
